Downtown Brooklyn, Brooklyn, NY, 2022–23

Managed the selection process for 12 public art & performance projects, and 5 accessibility projects with Downtown Brooklyn Partnership and Dumbo Improvement District. Funding for these transformative grants was provided by New York State through its Downtown Revitalization Initiative.

Hazelwood Green Riverfront Master Plan, Pittsburgh, PA, 2021

Collaborated with artists Edith Abeyta and Stacy Levy, to outline a public art strategy that incorporates artists as part of the efforts to connect the community to the revitalized riverfront along the Monongahela River in Pittsburgh, PA. Incorporated into the overall masterplan by Environmental, Planning, Design (EPD). Learn more here.

Port Arts Plan, for Port Department of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, NY/NJ, 2021

Developed a strategy to engage artists to create site related artwork at Port Newark and Elizabeth-Port Authority Marine Terminal, Port Jersey-Port Authority Marine Terminal, Brooklyn-Port Authority Marine Terminal, Howland Hook Marine Terminal/Port Ivory. Collaborated with Renee Piechocki. Subcontracted to AECOM.

Public Art and Culture Plan, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, NY/NJ, 2019

Working for the agency’s Engineering Department to create a plan to revitalize the Port Authority’s public art program, developing new art, culture, and design strategies for this regional, multi-modal transportation agency. In collaboration with Renee Piechocki.

Public Art Plan, University of Wyoming, Laramie, WY, 2018

Collaborated with Renee Piechocki to develop a public art plan for the University with a focus on student participation, cross department collaboration, community engagement, and expanding the variety of public art project types on campus.

San Pedro Creek Cultural Park Public Art Assessment and Strategy, San Antonio River Authority (SARA), San Antonio, TX, 2016

Multiple partners in San Antonio developed a flood-zone strategy for San Pedro Creek, resulting in a 4-mile linear park. Our team worked with stakeholder groups to evaluate the feasibility for an innovative public art plan. Developed an administrative structure, budget, and timeline for a new public art program at SARA to include community arts organizations. The strategy identified opportunities for permanent and temporary public art to complement the work of the design team. Created in collaboration with Ricardo Barreto and Renee Piechocki.

Cross Charlotte Trail Public Art Strategy, Charlotte, NC, 2017

The Arts and Science Council of Charlotte is leading efforts to develop public art along the new and expanding 30-mile Cross Charlotte Trail. Our strategy was designed to accommodate the varied construction schedules of each section, identifying a suite of public art project opportunities and potential locations. Project completed in collaboration with Renee Piechocki.
